Every cloud ….
As the whole of the country is suffering the after affects of the unusually cold weather, we have not been left unscathed. Unfortunately a burst pipe in the loft has resulted in extensive flooding in the main body of the house. It is heart breaking to see the damage that can be done by water, but we have been lucky in that the paintings, family pictures and model boats – all of which hold sentimental value – have been saved. And we must also be thankful that this is no longer a family home, as there are so many families round the country suffering right now and having to find alternative accommodation.
